Plantago asiatica-erosa-major, or cf. asiatica, with frequently (but not always) incised leaves (like incisa), elongated, uneven pyxidia (like asiatica), gaps (like erosa), seeds numerous 6-9-12 (like major) but typically elongated (like asiatica), without ridges (like asiatica) or with weak surface ridges, typically plant of altitudes > 500 m, South China (PE, TNS), Myanmar (MBK), North Thailand (MBK), Taiwan (TNS, TUS) and maybe also Indochina. This form might be similar to P. cavalieri H. Levelle described from Yunnan (sequenced from PE but seeds not counted).
